□ 블라디보스톡 치과병원 시장 현황
ㅇ 블라디보스톡의 총 인구 수는 60만 명가량임.
- 전체 러시아 도시 1113개 중 인구 수로 26위에 올라있음(2018.1.1. 기준).
- 인구 수로는 100만 이하의 도시로 대도시로 보기는 어려움.
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 내 전체 치과병원 수는 220개 가량임.
- 약 3000명당 치과병원이 1개 존재해 서울이 약 2000명당 치과병원 1개인 것에 비해서는 치과병원 수가 적은 편임.
- 러시아 사람들이 병원을 잘 찾지 않는다는 점까지 고려하면 현재 블라디보스톡 내 치과병원 수는 많은 편이라는 의견도 있음.
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 치과병원 내방 환자는 평균 월 200명 정도로 추산되고 있음.
- 내방환자 수는 치과병원 위치에 따라 큰 차이를 보이고 있으며, 이에 많은 치과병원이 시내 중심에 밀집해 있음.
□ 블라디보스톡 치과병원 진료과목 및 수가
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 내 치과병원들은 대부분 4~5개의 진료과목을 가지고 있음.
- 충치치료, 보철, 교정, 임플란트 등임.
- 한국의 치과병원이 8~10개 진료과목을 가지고 있는 것에 비해 적은 편임.
- 한국 치과병원에서 시행하는 미용치료는 거의 없음.
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 치과병원 수가는 단순 검진이 1000루블(약 1만7000원)부터 시작함.
- 충치치료는 치아 1개당 약 2500루블
- 보철은 3만 루블(약 50만 원)부터 시작하며, 임플란트는 5만~8만 루블(85만~140만 원)임.

□ 블라디보스톡 치과병원 진출 가능성
ㅇ 러시아 정부는 블라디보스톡 자유항 내 국제의료인프라 설립을 위한 국가지원방안을 마련 중임.
- 블라디보스톡 자유항 내 해외병원 진출 시 의료면허 인정 등 인센티브 등을 고려 중
- 블라디보스톡 자유항 입주 가능 의료기관은 OECD 특정 회원국에서 5년 이상 의료활동을 수행한 기관으로 제한하고 있음.
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 내 루스키섬을 의료특구로 지정해 해외 유수의 의료기관을 러시아 내로 유치하려 노력 중임.
ㅇ 올해 8월 한국의 한 치과병원이 블라디보스톡 진출을 검토하기 위해 출장을 오는 등 국내에서도 블라디보스톡 등 극동러시아 진출에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있음.
ㅇ KOTRA 블라디보스톡 무역관의 한국진출기업지원센터 자문 변호사인 안철환 변호사는 블라디보스톡 치과 시장이 다소 포화상태라는 말도 있지만, 러시아에서 진료하지 않는 분야 등으로 특화한다면 충분히 가능성이 있을 것으로 전망함.
□ 시사점
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 등 극동러시아는 한국 의료관광 등으로 한국의 의료기술에 대한 신뢰가 상당히 높음.
ㅇ 블라디보스톡 내 해외의료법인으로는 유럽계인 Falck 병원만이 진출해 있으며 아직까지 선진의료설비는 부족한 편임.
ㅇ 러시아 중앙정부 및 극동 주정부 또한 선진의료법인 유치에 관심을 가지고, 다양한 인센티브를 제공하려 노력하고 있는 만큼, 진출을 고려해 볼만함.
ㅇ 아직 검증되지 않은 시장으로 경제성, 의료법인 설립을 위한 다양한 조건 등을 면밀히 따져야 시행착오를 줄일 수 있음.
